Hey guys! I' m looking for a good Lycoming 0-235 L2C core with logbook and preferably a first run engine. I plan on rebuilding for my Aerobat so I can reduce down time on the plane. I will install new cylinders and cam so the case and lower end are the important components for me....

If your partner ask you to clean out the garage and you find one please email me.

I know somebody that has an O-235 core with a bad crank or no crank at all. If you are interested, I can ask him about it. I do not know any of the details of the engine right now.

Not a problem Scott.

He is my sandblast guy for my cylinder lamps. I need to go pick up some cylinders from him this weekend so I will ask him. At the latest, it will be Monday before I see him.

Oh wait, A NEW GUY!! WELCOME!!

James,

There is nothing about me that is NEW! I'm an old pilot that flies old planes and old cars with old kids.........lol

However, I appreciate the warm welcome.

I have a 78 152 Aerobat and Piper Meridian.

Great hearing from you!!!

Does anyone know Catherine Cavagnaro??? She is a little demon in a Aerobat!!!
Awesome instructor but she loves making me scream like a little girl when I fly with her......

She is way comfortable making a Aerobat walk the line.......

I want to be like her if I ever grow up!

Scott

I got some of the details of that engine tonight. His paperwork and logbook says that it is an O-235-C. He had a bunch of work done on it years ago and it is just sitting in boxes now. PM me your email address and I can send you a copy of the paperwork he has for it. I should be able to get out to the airport on Monday and look at the data plate for you and find out for sure what it is.
