Or if someone has one, photos and dimensions so that I can fabricate one. | | | | Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 3,693 Member/2500+posts | Member/2500+posts Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 3,693 | I have the hat shelf from a '64. Don't have my parts manual handy to see if they are the same. I'm thinking it's different, but if not you are welcome to it.

Don't know why Barney needs one but I am sure Sandy's old one is in good condition.

It only sits on the ledges of the side pieces. Secure it with removable clips ...... attached to the hats of course so the hats will not fly around the airplane in bouncy weather. After all all hats have to be secured to a shelf....or a head.

Gosh Jean, what a great idea to make one.. I wish that I had thought of that.. Perhaps that is what I had in mind when I posted; " Or if someone has one, photos and dimensions so that I can fabricate one." You must have missed that part in my posting or the word fabricate threw you off. Since you explained how it is attached, you must have one. I look forward to your sending photos and dimensions of the one in your 1959 Model as the parts manual is not very detailed. What is the part number for the ledges of the side pieces? I can't find them listed!! You are obviously most knowledgable in this area and I, again, eagerly look forward to your assistance. | | | | Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 1,015 Member/1000+posts | Member/1000+posts Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 1,015 | You know you must have an "Elf on the Shelf" or Santa will not bring you any good gifts. So you better start working on the shelf to get it ready for Dec 1st. Maybe some one has a pattern for an Elf. | | | | Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 2,600 Member/2500+posts | Member/2500+posts Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 2,600 | You know you must have an "Elf on the Shelf" or Santa will not bring you any good gifts. If you are refering to the 2005 children's picture book, written and self-published by American author Carol Aebersold and daughter Chanda Bell, then the shelf must be in place by the 28th of November. However, I am still waiting for you to send to me photos and diminsions so that I may fabricate, assemble, concoct, construct, contrive, dream up, formulate, build, compose, create, devise, manufacture, or produce a hat shelf. | | | | Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 1,015 Member/1000+posts | Member/1000+posts Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 1,015 | Maybe if you are good Santa will bring you your picture, pattern, and dimensions.
