Ran across this on the Canadian club site, classified section! A small picture with the add shows what appears to be 'T' shaped aluminum threaded buttons that should work on most models that use these. No price listing.

Missing those little pesky thumb screws that hold on your instrument panel decorative plastic? Get them here for cheap! Cessna wants over $14 each. gigabyte@nucleus.com

Carl, another source that is available at office depot etc. is binding posts. Remember the ones the Navy used in tech manuals. I found a box of 25 for less than $2.00 at the local office supply store. They come in different legnths and have a 8 x 32 threaded hole. Put one beside a Cessna button and the only difference is the Binding posts are thru threaded unlike the Cessna units that have a threaded blind hole. Same diameter on the shank and head etc. etc. I super glued a 8 x 32 set screw in the hole where it comes out of the head and use a allen wrench to remove them. Works great.

Haha!

Yeah! I suggested those in another post. These are more expensive, but aren't thru drilled and tapped like binding posts. Just another alternative to Cessna's rediculous greed!

Oh sure, it's OK to use these non-approved little do-dads when it suits you, cheating Cessna out of their due! Defying the regs. Looks like situational ethics at work here. It's a slipery slope my friends, a slipery slope. Next you'll be installing renegade engines, homemade propellers, and making all kinds of insane mods. In fact if you're not careful you could find yourselves becoming, well, like me!

By the way - Why is one of your wheel covers red says, "STOP" and the other one is brown and says, "Drink Dr. Pepper"?
