Anybody have any ideas what the going rate on the 150 Child seat is these days?

When I was actively looking a few years back, it seem $1,000 was the going rate for a complete seat, including all hardware and paperwork (if needed).

The factory seats are preferred because there's no need for paperwork. But finding the right model that fits a particular serial number and includes all the brackets and other fiddly bits was difficult.

The aftermarket seat was usually easier to find and more "universal" in its fit, but the STC paperwork is not transferable. And, last that I heard, the manufacturer charged almost as much to re-certify the seat and transfer the paperwork as they did to sell you a brand new seat.

If I had the dimensions and good photos of a stock setup, I probably would have "owner-manufactured" my own seat. It's not sophisticated engineering.

I'm of little help, Rich but I can tell you that when you finally give up on this idea, it seems fairly common these days to end up with a Cardinal RG. grin

The only reason i was asking as I have one for sale on Barnstormers. Wasn't sure what to ask, seems between $4-$800 on ebay. Also have a spinner that came off my O200 when i converted to a O320 years ago.

You may already know this, but when searching on eBay to find prices of items, use the Advanced Search and select "Completed Listings Only". That will show you only the items that have actually sold. The price of many items tends to skyrocket in the last few minutes, so looking at items still for sale will tend to suggest a lower value.
