Folks,
I'm in the market for a 150/152. It MUST have long range tanks. I'd prefer that it also be ifr equipped (glideslope and ADF equipped is sufficient, GPS not necessary).

Any referrals, leads would be appreciated. I'm watching ASO, Controller and the AOPA web sites already.
Thanks
Ed

Are you watching the Trade-A-Plane website?

They're the biggest.

Yup. I think I'll also work through the ones listed here and just ask if they're L/R tanked.

Only problem with these tiny flyers - they're short legged. I like the 5 hour legs for cross country flying.

Long range fuel on a stock 150/152 is pretty rare.
There was no need for it when training.
It's a weight liability otherwise.

Have you ever sat in a 150 for 5 hours? One time I logged 8 1/2 hours in my old 150 in one day...talk about a severe case of monkey butt. Even in the Piper I'm ready to get out after 4-5 hr legs, longest was 5 1/2 hours take off to landing and I wasn't sure I was gonna be able to get out of the plane!
