Good luck in your search. I've looked for one since 2006 for my '76, to no avail. They're rare and hard to come by, since they're usually one of the first parts to hit the dirt during a crash.
The one for the 172 is similar but just a smidge too large, vertically, for the limited space allotted above the air filter. The mounting flange seems to be the main difference, as compared to the L-M model version.
