Hey troops,
I need to find someone in the Rochester NY area to inspect an airplane for me, as I am recovering from surgery and unable to go there myself right at this moment.
I have emailed the EAA Chapter 44 President, and waiting for his reply. Any club members in the area, that could hook me up with someone?

Yup - he is looking at my airplane so he probably wants someone independent.

The annual was done by Chris Schubert at Canadaigua Air Center 585-615-3406. I guess he might be considered independent in that I didn't know him outside of doing the annual - and this was the first time I used him and he never saw my airplane before. He actually signed off on the annual, but another IA that works for him did it (I can't remember his name). I did assist in the annual. The one expensive thing I had to replace this time were both of the mufflers.

I used Ray Chapin at Williamson-Sodus Airport (KSDC) for the prebuy on my 150M. He was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, fair and patient with me. He came recommended by friends on the field and provided the insightful and independent prebuy that I was seeking. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He's a helicopter guy at heart but also does a lot of fixed wing work.
