I am giving a 150 airframe to a family friend in Oklahoma to make into a treehouse for his grandkids. He's on his second battle with lymphoma and wants this project to occupy him. The airframe has corrosion and a muddled ownership history, so unairworthy and unregisterable.

Anyway, looking for a few pieces to complete it. Need a used windshield (crazed is fine) and could also use a cowl (bent up is also fine). Looking for cheeeeap and hopefully in central Oklahoma.

Kendel, I have an upper cowl. Might trade for some wheel pants

Thanks, Ron, but I have a pile of upper cowls. Should have specified I just need the lower. If I don't come across one, he will just have to make a fake one from wood and fiberglass.

I have an ugly one with a bunch of patches on it for an early model. Both top and bottom. I was planning on scrapping them. If they will work, you can have them.

That would work. Scrap condition is what I'm looking for.

I would probably not put any Plexiglas on a "treeplane" that kids will be using.

UV makes it brittle.

It breaks into sharp edges and jagged points.
