EI will set the internal hours to your engine and/or total time on your aircraft, if the buyer chooses to send it back to them. Face redline is also an easy fix.

Inline resistors may be needed for the simple wiring installation to your ignition switch.
Easy/peasy upgrade, no doubt.

I have one of these installed on Woodstock. Easy to install on the Lycoming O-320. Increments of 10 on the RPM allow for somewhat steady RPM indications.

As Bengie noted, EI can easily change both the recorded tach hours and the green, yellow (if any) and red limits on the tach so it matches up to your plane and engine.

That's the great thing about electronic instruments! I wonder what EI would charge for this?

I called E.I. today. The cost to get the tach re-programmed for a 150 and set the tach hour to what you want is $125 + about $15 for shipping it back to you. The $125 includes a complete check out of all the functions. Takes about 3-4 work days to turn it around.
