I am looking for a used, but serviceable, comm antenna to mount on my hangar for my scanner. I have a few rod antennas that I could use but I would prefer to have one with a BNC connector on it. I am open to any antenna that works good enough to pick up traffic 5 to 10 miles away. I am not concerned with cosmetics as long as the antenna functions.
I am hoping that someone here has recently upgraded their antenna and has the old one kicking around and they want to get rid of it. I have looked on Ebay and I really do not want to pay those prices for an unknown antenna.
