Hi Matt-

I am based at DYL. I don't know the seller, but this plane is on a tie down near mine and I see it flying all the time. I second Ed's recommendation of P-Factor at Pennridge as a close option for a pre-buy. Joe Flury is there now and is a conservative and well respected A&P in the area. There are a couple of guys at Quakertown who are also well regarded.

Do you know who did the last annual?

Jim

Yes it looks like joe Taylor has done the maintenance and annuals for the last year and a half.

Not familiar with that name. Any indication where he was located?

I flew last evening, and I was leaving the airport the Cessna you're looking at was departing. Probably a good sign that they trust the engine enough to fly it in the dark.

I’m not sure where he is located. It looks like a Aulio A. Giron was the IA for the first annual. Leading edge aviation replaced a tire (can’t read the mechs name) and Philip s. Babb did the last annual.

Phil Babb owns P-Factor Aviation at Pennridge.

The guys at Pennridge (Joe and Phil) have a good reputation, but you'd probably be well served to have someone who has not previously worked on the plane do your pre-buy.

I think that the shop at Sky Manor N40 is also good (www.skymanorairrepair.com [skymanorairrepair.com]), although I've only really used them for avionics. N40 is only about 15nm from DYL.
