During the annual inspection w found the rear spinner bulkhead is cracked AGAIN. I am not spending the money to replace it a second time. There are no PMA'd replacement skullcaps and original parts are $$$ so I am looking for a used one. I tried the scrapyard that I know about here in Canada and they don't have one. I'm sure there are other scrap yards that I don't know about.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to find one.

Sorry. Meant to update this thread for everyone interested. I sent an inquiry to ACS about the applicability of this spinner to the O-200 engine as it wasn't listed in the ad, although the C-90 was and they are practically the same engine. Here is the reply I got back.

And NO, it is not approved for our C150's unfortunately

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Aircraft Spruce.

You recently wrote:
SKULL CAP SPINNER ASSEMBLY (SMALL)

Is this spinner approved for the O-200A engine, as it is basically the same engine as the A65,75,85?

To which our reply is:
These are approved for aircraft models Cessna 120, 140 and 140A. It appears that this was a typo on our website as it doesn’t pertain to the engine model but the aircraft model.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns. We look forward to the next opportunity to serve you.

Here are FAA/PMA skull cap spinners..
https://www.wagaero.com/propellers/spinners-bulkheads.html

My 150H came with a skull cap spinner stock from cessna.
Maybe look for the cessna part for your year..

I bought a used one with a bracket I believe from Texas Air Salvage several years ago after a hawk committed suicide on mine. I think it was right around $50.

Pete

I have sent requests to all the major salvage yards and nobody has one as yet. Still waiting to hear from a couple of them.

I am thinking the Univair bulkhead may be the most economical solution right now.

This looks like exactly the same problem I ran into with the ACS spinner. FAA/PMA approved but not for the C150. The props listed on the Wagaero listing do not match the prop on a C150. I have an inquiry into Wagaero to see if they can clarify what exactly it is approved for. Also curious as to why ACS ties the approval to the airframe and Wagaero ties theirs to the prop????

First positive reply is from Wentworth.

They said the spinner is $195 USD +shipping

OUCH !

I replied to the email asking if the bracket was included for that price but haven't heard back yet.
