Had all three #4 cylinder intake valve springs break (corrosion from previous owner allowing her to sit) last week which resulted in a chewed up cylinder.

I'm looking for someone who may have one of these sitting around they're looking to part with. Mine are P/N AEC65314SN61.1D, they have the rotary exhaust valve cap and I'm looking to keep them all as balanced as possible. The other cylinders only have 350 hours since new so I'm not looking to do all four at this time. The one I removed looked great minus the usual carbon/lead fouling.

I'm open to barrel only or complete assembly. It appears I can pick up an overhauled barrel up at Gibson Aviation for $550 or new for $650. However, it looks like I can get a complete assembly from Air Power for $950. It could be $1350 as their website isn't the best.

After 20 years of military aviation maintenance practice it's nice to finally be using my A&P on my own aircraft, all with the help of a much more experienced and wise IA friend. Just a father/son combo working towards our Commercial one $1000 bill at a time.

If you happen to have a full set of Superior Millenniums collecting dust LMK that as well as for the right price I may be willing to go that route.

Thanks,
Stephen

No truer words have been spoken Jim. Allowing aircraft to sit is shameful. Just about everything that has gone wrong with this plane is related to that. It's all a learning experience and whatever I lose from the bank I'll gain in knowledge.

You've helped plenty and that headset is still going strong.

Headed to the airport to tinker, have a great day. Feels like spring around here.

That's my only concern about building my engine with ECI Titan cylinders... they're not being made anymore.

Good luck with the search...
