If I bought these I'd have to go get a dog to sit under them.
Speaking as a guy who didn't know much about dogs until a few years after marrying a woman who loved them - your idea might just have a lot of merit.
Our dog loves going in the airplane - if I'm just in the hangar reading or working on something, I have to open the door and let him sit in the airplane. When I say something about going to the hangar, he heads straight to the car.
Unfortunately, he is also a dog that doesn't seem to be able to wear mutt muffs. He rubs his head against something and they're immediately out of position. He wears slightly oversize earplugs that are on cords so they can't slip too far into his ears.
He loves flying but gets pretty nervous in turbulence.
