My hangar neighbor is selling his 1971 Bellanca Super Viking. It is IFR equipped, has 1830 SMOH on a 2000 TBO engine. 3 bladed Hartzel prop. He is wanting $40,000.00.

If anyone knows someone who is looking for a 180 mph cruise aircraft, this would be a good buy.

PM me for sellers info.

Someone I know flies the Kansas air tour in one like that every year. He arrives early to every stop.

My first flight instructor has one he calls Speed Monster. It is a tight cockpit. As Poobs said, it does scream.

Have always wanted to try one of those. Always liked them, and the numbers are hard to argue with. I'm not a small man however, so I wonder how well I'd fit. Need to try one out and see. If it is like the early Mooneys I have to fly with my left elbow tucked into my ribs and left knee pointed in and bumping on the dash. Not comfortable for longer flights.
