About2 or three months ago I had several club members contact me about my airplane. Saying they might be interested etc. I put them on the list to let them know when I got it ready to sell and list.
I have bee slowed way down on getting the airplane on the market. Mostly because of my wife's knee surgery which had to be postponed twice and then she did get it done and needed this old guys attention etc.

Now I am ready on the sale but I have misplaced my list of those who had contacted me.If anyone is interested still please just PM me.

Good luck Dale. It has been fun to fly with you a few times to various events, I will miss that. It is kind of sad when the time comes to "hang up the keys" but it will come for all of us eventually. Hope your wife recovers well.

Best wishes, Jay

Dale,

Leah and I wish you the best on the sale, and wish you and Laraine the best in everything going forward.

I always look forward to seeing you and Trudi in Clinton, and we hope that you are able to still find a way to make it.

Good luck with the sale, Dale. I remember, as you do, there were a few folks here very interested.

Why wouldn't they be???

If I didn't have Mighty Mouse, I'd be first in line on this one.....tail decal and all. grin

I hate to see Dale sell it but I hope it goes to someone here in the family and stays in the club.

I am seriously thinking of driving to Clinton this summer for the fly in. It is a long way to drive but I am sure the airplane will be gone so if I show up there it will have to be by travel on the highways. I really hate the idea of not being there after having made the Fly In 16 times.
We will see!!!!!!

You can fly commercial to Quad City/Moline (KMLI) and someone will fly/drive over and pick you up. I just checked and round-trip ticket Salt Lake-Moline departing Monday July 17, 2023 returning Sat July 22. 2023 is $578 per person. Driving round-trip will be around 2500 miles; not sure what gas mileage your vehicle gets and the price of gas then, plus maybe one night at a motel each way.
