And that's the very best you can hope for.

It's always been interesting (to me) how some of us (including me) can get so emotionally attached to a pile of metal, plastic and rubber.

Congrats on the quick sale, Catherine.

Thanks, Jim. I'll go fly her a last time this morning and fill her up with fuel (our airport doesn't have fuel) for her new owners. It'll be sad to see her fly away this afternoon.

Given how awful I've heard selling an airplane can be, I was stunned how much interest I had in her and how easy and fast it was. That being said, I hope I never sell one again. It's tough to see a family member go.

I'm so very happy to have my plane that every year or so I email Joe, the previous owner, and thank him for selling his plane to me. I include some pictures, like me flying with my grandkids.

He realized he had made a mistake (for him) selling his Bonanza and trying to step down to the 150; so, he wasn't really attached to the 150. Still, I think he enjoys hearing from me and knowing how very much I appreciate my plane. He went from the 150 to a Citabria and then to a J-3 Cub. It's about time to email him with my thanks again, and it'll be interesting to see what plane he has now.
