Let the buyer beware . | | | Re: 1967 Cessna 150/150 - $35,000 | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 9,777 Likes: 58 Member/7500+posts | Member/7500+posts Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 9,777 Likes: 58 | I agree with Stacey. Just sayin'...

Too much of a project for me. | | | Re: 1967 Cessna 150/150 - $35,000 | Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 24,838 Likes: 763 Member/20,000 posts | Member/20,000 posts Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 24,838 Likes: 763 | Did you see who signed off the work on that plane? "God" himself. | | | Re: 1967 Cessna 150/150 - $35,000 | Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 5,700 Likes: 752 Member/5000+posts! | Member/5000+posts! Yes, and he was drinking, smoking cigars and cracking one liners while inspecting the plane. | | | Re: 1967 Cessna 150/150 - $35,000 | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 9,777 Likes: 58 Member/7500+posts | Member/7500+posts Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 9,777 Likes: 58 | Yes, and he was drinking, smoking cigars and cracking one liners while inspecting the plane.
That right there is not at all unusual for any IA.

I live about 20 miles from Ozark, Mo, where that C150/150 is based. George Burns did an annual condition inspection on my Challenger CH-II one year when my usual A&P couldn’t. He is really a nice guy, but I haven’t heard anything about his quality of work. “Annuals” on experimentals are much less stringent than on certified aircraft. Sounds like you’ve decided to keep looking, But, let me know if I can help you with anything.
