I'm not a fan of those paint colors, and the seats.

Cant help but think of how many nice 4 place airplanes you can buy for that money. I think my 150 is 80% as nice as that 152, but I don't think I could get $48,000.00 for it lol!

I think the seller is expecting to get all the money back from avionics and interior work. Hope they realize soon that simply isn't how it works.

As far as this price versus a 4-place, well, that's true, but I think over time the total cost of ownership is still way better on a 152, even at this price. When you start adding seats, you start adding dollar signs to almost every part of ownership. Annuals are more expensive, replacement parts are more expensive, insurance is more expensive, fuel burn can be more expensive depending on the length of a flight. These are the factors many fail to consider when it comes to aircraft ownership or upgrading to a larger, faster aircraft, and it gets a lot of owners in financial trouble more quickly than they can cope with.

Very good points, Brian. I think most of us could be flying a four seat airplane if we wanted to, but most of us aren't because we don't want to.

Every 150/152 that sells at a seemingly high price only serves to make our airplanes worth more (at least that is what I think).

Well I guess my point was if given the choice of paying 60,000 for a 152 or a 172 from a strictly financial point of view, anyone would be foolish to hand over the money for a 152 especially if you consider future resale value. Just not fiscally prudent.
