I had the wheel pants taken off Mary Lou a few years back. 18 pounds may not sound like much, but in my bird (speaking only fo myself), it does make a difference weight wise. It's a trade off.... she's 3 to 5 knots slower without her pants on (get your minds outta the gutter....), but it just means i get lost slower and get to log more flight time. Plus it's easier to service the tires.

So yeah.... she flies without her pants on.

Well....I would never want you to keep something you didn't need, Graeme.

Your price is certainly fair. If no one else wants/needs them, I'll take them off your hands.

Under offer to Gary!

You want the Swordfish modification? Or complete as per the picture?

If you want the mod - I'll start sawing now - might take a couple of days....... grin grin grin grin

Well....I don't really need all of that length (said no guy, ever!) So, please, no Swordfish mod. I already have a tube of John Deere grease, so I won't need that, either.

That said, if they show up and they're painted yellow, the deal's off!

I think that at the time that Swordfish made his modification, the Cessna price was about $250.
