In the 1st picture, I thought the spinner was polished, but in the 4th picture it has poort paint. | | | Re: 1966 150F $8,500 | Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 35,101 Likes: 426 DA POOBS Member with 30,000+ posts!! | DA POOBS Member with 30,000+ posts!! The paint job itself would run in the vicinity of $8000. One good thing is that it's in a dry climate. Also, the interior seems really rough. I noticed a fuse missing and a big crack in the plastic. The crack isn't a deal breaker by any mean, but man.... it looks rough.
1727 hours since overhaul. not ideal breaker unto itself, but that has to be taken into account.

Did I ever tell you about my $250 boat? Ten grand later I sold it for $3000. I had one of those. $3500 to buy it, over$1000 to repair it. Used it twice. Then after it sat in my yard for almost 20 years I finally got rid of it a few months ago. It only cost me $250 to have it towed away.

But the Rat Rod has the character that is unmatched by any other 150.........or 150/150 for that matter.

I'm torn between merely stating that I agree with my esteemed colleague, and swinging from the chandeliers shouting AMEN!! Preach it, brother!
