I recently noticed my hanger neighbor had two Dahon folding bicycles sitting in his hanger. He said he bought them for himself and wife but only used them a couple of times (2-3), so they are practically new. I said I would buy both of them, one for myself and thought another member might be interested in buying the second folding bicycle.

I recently flew to Katama grass airstrip on Martha’s Vineyard with my folding bicycle and rode a few miles into town. It was a lot of fun and I plan to do a lot more flying and riding.

Many years ago, I bought a cheap folding bike to use in a 150. "How much different could it be from a Dahon?", I thought. I quickly grew to hate the thing, as it was extremely twitchy to ride and seemed to shed broken parts with the most benign use. I seriously thought about dropping it out the passenger door while in flight, just to be sure I murdered the death trap that was a cheap Dahon knockoff.
If I wasn't on the opposite coast, I'd be all over this deal. A good bike, that is reliable and rides well, is incredibly handy to have, once you've touched down away from home.

If it's still available in 2-3 weeks I will be interested. Just need to get my plane back and get the final cost for the repaint to make sure I have the available funds.

Yes the Dahon 8 speed folding bicycle is still available if you are interested. I think you would be very happy with the quality, performance and size/weight of the bicycle.
I left you a voice mail, please give me a call and we can work out details and shipping.
