Got the terrible news that no one wants to hear when your engine goes in for overhaul…. my crankshaft is cracked and non-repairable. Not sure how that happens as it is a non-prop strike engine but the news is the same from Aircraft Specialties, red tag.

I am now in the market for a yellow-tagged or serviceable crankshaft for a O-200A engine (part number 530182 or 653012). Anybody out there have one stashed away who no longer has a need for it? Thanks for reading.

Aircraft Specialities should be the people to talk to about this.

Yes sir, #8. As in, 7 ahead of me on the list. I am not confident I will getting a call in the near future. Crazy times.

Sorry to hear Derek! I guess that means I’m going have to fly down your way when my engine gets put back together and installed OR you can fly one of those King Airs over my way lol!!
