I bought a ‘66 150F with the intent to fly out my 1,500 hours to the ATP rating. I’ve put nearly 400 hours on it and I still need 850 ish hours. My current engine is over TBO now and I’m anticipating having to overhaul it before I hit my goal, but want to keep my downtime to a minimum. So, I’m looking for a rebuildable O-200a that I can start to O/H while my current engine is still humming so I can just swap them when the time comes.

The closer to Denver, the better, but I probably won’t have that luxury…

Maybe you have seen this one but there's an O-200 with 1315SMOH listed on FB Marketplace near me. Let me know if this link doesn't work. https://www.facebook.com/marketplac...ketplace_profile&referral_code=undefined

No special knowledge and no relationship, but another one just popped up in MN. This one looks nice. https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/csw/avo/d/princeton-200-continental-smoh/7697557466.html

Contact Continental about their overhaul program. It is what we did for the Club raffle plane.

Can you give a ballpark budgeting estimate on the cost of their program?

Thanks for the info. That’s pretty insane, but I guess the big companies gotta pay for all that overhead and executive bonuses.
