I've now reached 250! frown

When I was a lightweight (235) I took a friend up in my 150K who MUST have topped 250! I left 13 gallons of fuel on the ground, but I know I was still (slightly?) over gross. This was off 2,600' of turf, 50'+ trees, and 3,000' DA. No flaps, I extended the nose strut and let the airplane fly herself off (about 1,100' of ground run) and left the nose low until I had 75 mph IAS, then held that speed for the climb. We cleared the trees by a good 250'-300'.

Believe me, you'd rather be (slightly?) overgross than ask a woman her WEIGHT! shocked I wouldn't have tried it if the (interpolated) book numbers looked unfavorable, or if I didn't know my airplane!

You won't have any trouble at all, especially if you have more runway than I do!
