Wow - according to the Illustrated Parts Catalog, there are seven different styles of wheel pants! Some may interchange on the backing plates, while others will not.

I'll eventually put together a FAQ with all of the serial- and part-number details, but for now here are all the pictures and years they were used:

Note: It would appear that the 1974 is identical with the 1975-1977 (and most likely is a bolt-on replacement), but according to the IPC they're two different part numbers.
