Here is the tough part, Matt. As mentioned before, you should find a mechanic that you feel comfortable with, and can trust first. Or at least a knowledgeable owner to take a look with you. When ever you take the word of another mechanic you are putting yourself at risk. There is at least one member here that lives in that area that I bet can help you out. Let's see if he offers his voice?

Have you checked the Club's listing of year by by year changes to see if this airplane has the specifications that you desire? Like, it does have the swept tail and back window. But it doesn't have the bowed out doors to enhance cabin room. If that is important to you.
