For reference, AOPA's Vref Aircraft Valuation service puts an average 1965 Cessna 150E at $13,400. This particular planes is worth more due to low airframe and engine times and values at $17,205.69 (an not a penny less smile ). The condition of the interior can have a significant effect. If it needs a new interior they subtract $3,000 from the price.

I don't know how accurate Vref is, but it is used by many to figure out a starting point for negotiating.
