I guess the big question is, would I be allowed to fly it all the way to NC to have those inspections done, or would I need to have it done some place closer like Seattle? To clarify, the current registration would be cancelled, a new temp certification would be applied for, and the question is, How far and where can you go to on a temp C of A? I know when I imported mine, the Temp C of A allowed me 30 days to do my trip, with the only 2 stipulations being, "from my purchase point" to my "final landing point". It didn't say, first entry point in Canada then I was grounded, it allowed me to fly to my mechanic that was doing the import inspection. Does the same apply in the US?
