By the way, years ago while working for the Tennessee Aviation Division, the Chief Engineer told me he had done a study of Tennessee airports with regard to the need for ILS approaches. That was pre-GPS. He said 95% of the time (using historical ASOS/AWOS data) you could land at the airports with non precision minima. A 530 would work fantastically without WAAS.
