I can't remember the website, but there is an entire "Sport" of scamming these guys.
If you think about it, the time people spend doing this is likely not much more than the time we spend on the forum here and to them it is great entertainment, plus, in my view, a public service.
If I was a retired mafia hitman, I might be inclined to make this my passtime. Track these guys down, set up the hit, then publicize the heck out of it on the internet. Can't help but wonder if that wouldn't reduce the incidence of occurence. Just email the news articles back to them when they first contact you.
But there is this "though shalt not murder thing..." sorry, the evil side of me came out.
