Oh yes, my Chevy small block has powered more derby cars than I can remember. I do remember one particular derby, my front end got pushed back too far and the fan chewed through the radiator and I lost every drop of coolant. She ran fine for over 30 mins without any water! Many times you can see the stacks glowing red!
