If I hold the side windows tightly closed, it gets a whole lot quieter in the cockpit. Amazing, huh? So, where would people here recommend buying new weather seals from?

If you park in a closed, locked hangar, always leave the doors open and the windows open, that way the gaskets and seals do not take a crushed set.

Thanks Charles! I was leaning in that direction already. But thought I had better make sure there wasn't some certified seal out there that costed ten times as much!! Sure wouldn't want to install anything on an airplane that wasn't certified! | | | | Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 7,197 Likes: 2 Member/5000+posts! | Member/5000+posts! I think Cessna designed all of the air leaks into the airplane to allow carbon monoxide and the various noxious odors to escape <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I ordered new seals when redoing my plane. I just tried to look up the parts on-line, but it seems they have been supersceded and they dont list a substitute. I'll keep checking.
