Back then, we camped/parked on the south side of 14/32, east of the ramp/hangars, with some parking/camping on the north side of 14/32. Showers were set up in the garage of the terminal. Will we still be camping/parking in the same areas? What's the set up for showers? I will also be camping this year and Wx dependent, arriving Saturday or Sunday, July 17th or 18th.

Parking remains the same. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 25,988 Likes: 1242 Member/25,000 posts | | Member/25,000 posts Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 25,988 Likes: 1242 | Quite a few nice upgrades since your last fly-in. I don't remember if the Port-a-Potties were there when I was last there (2017) or we switched to using the FBO facilities. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 16,202 Likes: 1186 Member/15,000 posts | | Member/15,000 posts Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 16,202 Likes: 1186 | Quite a few nice upgrades since your last fly-in. One near the camping area and another near the old hangar.

I'm really getting pumped up for the fun and friends. Pulling out the camping equipment next week for an ops check.

Experience is a hard teacher because she gives the test first, the lesson afterward. But no, there is no electricity out under your wing, or over in tent city.

I purchased a solar panel to charge a battery pack during the day to run my fan at night (and charge cell phone and iPad). This boy is going off grid.
I also have a Helinox cot (got one after I saw Ed’s. But mine is not yellow.). Cot beats sleeping on pad.
Also have several “solar powered” lanterns. Charge them up during day and use them at night. Light weight and easy to pack.
And this year I bought a hammock stand. Moving on up …
